The award-winning landscape designers at Lombardo Landscaping & Water Features, are donating their design services for a backyard makeover to the highest bidder at the 2016 Venetian Charity Ball, benefitting Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. in Lee, Hendry, and Glades counties.

BONITA SPRINGS, FLORIDA (March 3, 2016) Lombardo Landscaping & Water Features, Inc. is giving back to the Southwest Florida community at the 2016 Venetian Charity Ball. This outdoor design company is donating their landscape design services for a backyard make over at the 2016 Venetian Charity Ball as an auction item. The Charity Ball will take place at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, 5001 Coconut Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 6 p.m. The Charity Ball evening will include a cocktail hour, auctions, dinner and dancing. The Guest of Honor is Bishop Frank J. Dewane with music and entertainment provided by The Paul Vesco Orchestra.

Proceeds from the auction will help support the programs and services of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. in Lee, Hendry and Glades counties. Catholic Charities have been instrumental in providing:

  • Assistance to human trafficking victims
  • Senior services
  • Food pantries and food programs
  • Immigration services
  • Youth tutoring and mentoring
  • Adult education
  • Youth education and summer programs
  • Case management
  • Financial assistance
  • Infant/toddler assistance

“When we received an email request from Cheryl Roman, the organizer of this fundraiser, asking us to provide a landscape design, we were honored,” said Matthew Lombardo, owner. “Our neighbors here in the Naples/Bonita Springs/Fort Myers area have blessed us immensely with their business and we want to give back to our community. We responded with an immediate ‘YES’ considering how this fundraiser helps so many people in Southwest Florida.”

The winner of this Backyard Makeover will receive an onsite consultation with Mr. Lombardo and a designer from the firm and a CAD landscape design blueprint which will show the overall design of the project.
